Onofrio Gigliotta

Onofrio Gigliotta is a Ph.D. student in Psychology and a research fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the National Research Council in Rome, where he is a member of the Laboratory of Artificial Life and Robotics. His research interests include social simulations, evolutionary robotics, and spatial navigation within the general framework of a dynamical approach to cognition.

Orazio Miglino

Orazio Miglino is Professor of Psychology at the Federico II University in Neaples, where he teaches a course on Theories and Systems of Artificial Intelligence, and a research associate at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the National Research Council in Rome. His research interests are in constructing and validating artificial models (computer simulations and real mobile robots) of the behaviour of real organisms. He is also interested in using these models for educational and science communication purposes.

Domenico Parisi

Domenico Parisi has been the Director of the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies of the National Research Council in Rome and is now associated with the Laboratory of Artificial Life and Robotics of the Institute. He is editor of the Italian journal "Sistemi Intelligenti". His main research interests are the development of simulation models of individual and social behaviours using neural networks, genetic algorithms, and artificial life models, their philosophical and cultural implications, and their applications to education and entertainment.
