Paivi Mattila-Wiro

Currently she works as a senior researcher at the National Institute for Health and Welfare in Finland. Her research topics concentrate on poverty, inequailty, wellbeing, social security and microsimulation. Previously she worked in a tax-benefit microsimulation project at the Government Institute for Economic Research. She holds a M.Sc degree in Household Economics from the University of Helsinki, M.A.degree in Development Economics from the University of East Anglia and a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Tampere.
