Matthew Jarman

Matthew Jarman is a visiting assistant professor at the Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. His research experimentally and computationally explores adaptive change at different levels of human experience, including change at the cognitive (e.g., insight), individual (e.g., behavior change), and group (e.g., social norm) levels. Dr. Jarman is also interested in the facilitation of such change through meditation practice.

Andrzej Nowak is a social psychologist at the University of Warsaw, where he directs the Center for Complex Systems ISS. He is also a professor at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Warsaw, and at Florida Atlantic University. Wojciech Borkowski

Wojciech Borkowski did his doctorate in biology in 2001 at the Institute of Botany, University of Warsaw. Since 1991 he has programmed many applications for scientific purposes, especially data mining and processing (Genetic Algorithm, Artificial Neural Networks, Rough Sets, Fuzzy Logic and Expert Systems). Since 1994, he has developed many simulation models of biological and social systems. He has been involved in numerous grants in the U.S. (NSF, McDonnell), and in Europe (national and EU). Robin Vallacher

Robin Vallacher is a professor of psychology at Florida Atlantic University, a Research Associate in the Center for Complex Systems, University of Warsaw, Poland, and a Research Affiliate in the Advanced Consortium on Cooperation, Conflict, and Complexity at Columbia University. Dr. Vallacher’s primary focus of theory and research is the adaptation of concepts and methods from complexity science and dynamical systems to topics in social psychology, including self-concept, self-regulation, social judgment, close relations, social justice, and intergroup conflict. Dr. Vallacher has authored or edited six professional texts and written over 100 book chapters and journal articles.
