Over the last 4 years, Derek Gatherer has worked on a variety of bioinformatical, marketing and drug design projects for Dutch, American and British pharmaceutical and biotech companies, most recently at the Sid Martin Biotechnology Development Incubator of the University of Florida. He is also a part-time student at Edinburgh Business School (Heriot-Watt University). Currently, he can be contacted at the Royal Society of Chemistry where he serves as a voluntary committee member.
